Mini 1 1981 Mini pumper built by Hoosier Fire Equipment for the Munster IN. Fire Department. We purchased it from them as their grassland was replaced by blacktop due to urban sprawl. Mini 1 was repainted to our department colors all prep work for the repaint done by department members. Mini1 has a 250 GPM PTO pump w/250 gal tank also an on board generator. Mini1 responds to all calls. |

Becker, built on a Ford F550 chassis. It carries a variety of equipment which includes a 500-GPM pump with a PTO, 250 GWT, 30-gal foam cell, two 200-foot inch-and-three-quarter preconnects, one 100-foot 1.75-inch trash line, two 200-foot booster reels, 500 feet of 2.5-inch blitz line, a remote-controlled front-bumper mounted monitor, pre-piped deck gun at the rear, SCBA, CO and gas meters, HazMat equipment, and forcible entry tools. The unit is first due on all boardwalk and amusement pier calls, thus earning its nickname - "Boardwalk Assault". |
