Engine 1001 is a 2002 Precision body on a Spartan Advantage chassis. It has a 1250 gal/min Waterous pump with Foam Pro and carries a 750 gal booster tank. 1001 is also equipped with 5 SCBA in the seat jumpseats, for enroute donning of SCBA units for all passengers in the vehicle. This unit carries other various type of equipment for a number of different types of responses. 1001 is our first responding front line unit to all responses involving MVAs, structure/vehicle fires, and mutual aid into the City of Defiance. |
