Truck 2 Apparatus
Truck 2 is a 1998 Pierce Dash 105' Quint with a 6 person enclosed cab. This unit is powered by a 60 Series Detroit 500Hp with an Allison Automatic transmission. This unit is equipped with a 1500 GPM Hale pump rated at 1250 GPM and carries 500 gallons of water. The 105' aerial has a 750lb. tip load and equipped with a pre-piped waterway and nozzle. Truck 2 carries an assortment of various hand tools and saws along with a few specialty pieces which consist of a multi-gas meter, 2 ice rescue suits, and a 3 bottle 6000 psi cascade system. Truck 2 also has a 10Kw hydraulic AMPS generator with 6-500 watt quartz lights and 2-200' retractable cord reels. In late 2005 this unit will also be equipped with Hurst Rescue equipment.
