| 10:30 PM report of chimney fire at 2030 market st. dover. upon arrival top of chimney was on fire. chimney sticks were put in chimney. they did not work so a fire extingusher was used. fire was contained to chimney. 10-98 at 11:00 pm | |||

| 7:00 am called to railroad bridge 1/2 mile east of dover. a train carrying hot coals of some sort passed by at 5:00 am and some coals landed on the trussel. the fire was reported by a passanger train at 7:00 am. bridge was put out in minutes of arrival.csx was contacted. stood by for awhile to make sure it would not start back up.back at station at 8:30 am | |||

| 4:30 am 9/1/07 responded to 3071 Augusta-Dover rd. A 50 yr.old woman was not breathing & had no pulse[lips were already blue].Womans son did M2M while chief did chest comps. Ambulance arrived right after chief. She was taken to Meadowview Hospital were she was pronounced D.O.A.upon arrival. | |||

| 8/16/07 7:00PM STORM DAMAGE[multiple trees down & power outage] K.U.WAS CALLED TO TAKE CARE OF POWER, WE CLEARED 5 TREES ON RT# 8 FROM NEW BRIDGE TO AUGUSTA, 1 TREE ON RAILROAD, 2 TREES ON MARKET ST., 2 TREES ON LUCRETIA ST.,2 TREES ON AUGUSTA-DOVER RD.,2 TREES ON LEES CREEK RD.,& CHECKED SOUTH RIPLEY & TUCKAHOE RD.NO TREES DOWN JUST SOME BRUSH IN ROADWAY. WAS OUT TILL APROX. 9:30 PM. CHAINSAWS & MANPOWER USED TO MOVE TREES | |||

| 6/30/07 @ 8:00 PM WE WERE ON SITE FOR THE RIPLEY FIREWORKS AT SOUTH RIPLEY. WE WERE JUST THERE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY LIKE WE DO EVERY YEAR. THERE WAS A COUPLE OF SMALL FIRES DO TO DRY CONDITIONS, BUT WE HAD PLENTY OF FIREFIGHTERS TO COVER THE SITUATIONS PROMPTLY ! ALL WENT WELL & IT WAS A GREAT SHOW !!!! LEFT SCENE @ 10:30 | |||

| 8:30 PM RESPONDED TO A HAY BARN FIRE AT 3387 TUCKAHOE RD.PUMPELLY FARM. ROLLED HAY HAD GOTTEN HOT AND STARTED TO BURN. A GREAT RESPONSE TIME HELPED GET THE PROBLEM UNDER CONTROL QUICK. WE LOST ONLY 10 BALES OUT OF ABOUT 100.BACKUP WAS PROVIDED BY FERNLEAF V.F.D. & GERMANTOWN V.F.D. 2 TRACTORS PROVIDED BY THE PUMPELLYS WAS ALSO A TREMENDOUS HELP! | |||
