| At 1319hrs, while crews were still operating in Coalton, Box 192 was sounded for a house on fire on Mulga Road. E1907, E1906, R1908, E-H2, E-H4, E101, E-102, E1102, R1117, & Medic 081 responded from throughout the area. E1907 was on scene in less than 5 minutes and 1923 A/C Ryan Pelletier assumed command on a 1 story ranch dwelling with heavy smoke showing. E7's crew pulled a line and made a quick knock on the fire. E6 & R8 completed a search & pulled a back-up line. E6's driver took a fan to the front door as E-H4's crew opened up. The fire was contained in about 12 minutes and all searches were negative. A family dog was lost in the blaze. Bloomfield & McArthur units helped with salvage, overhaul & RIT. They were also responsive from the scene, seeing as how all the departments in the area were working fires!!! Thanks a lot to all the crews who helped out! Photos courtesy of Hamden FD.
