| Former Fire Chief, Richard Holcombe's "Up and Down Saw". Similar to what was once powered by a water wheel in the 19th Century. In a much larger scale, over 40 of these were in existence in Sullivan County. Structures such as the Tubach Furniture Building and the Dushore Hotel were built of native wood, cut on machines like this. |
