Why did you join the department?
I joined the department because I grew up being able to see the station from my bedroom window and ever time the siren went off I would get excited.
What advice would you give to someone interested in becoming a firefighter?
Just do it!

My name is Devin, I am a current interior firefighter. I joined at the end of 2003 after living just down the street from the fire house all my life.
We operate a total of 3 pieces of apparatus. 2004 Pierce Custom 1250/1000/25 C.A.F.S. 6 person Engine- Tanker, 2006 Pierce Commercial 1250/1000/30 5 person Engine- Tanker, & a 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty w/ skid unit 5 person cab Brush Truck.
