Catskill Fire Responds to Possible Structure Fire Catskill Fire was dispatched by Greene County 911 on May 15, 2008 at approx 12:40 in the afternoon for a possible structure fire at 5 Liberty St in the Village of Catskill. The alarm came in as a fire in the wall of the single family dwelling. While enroute to the call Greene County 911 received a call from the Catskill Police Dept. advising that there was no smoke or fire present. Catskill Fire units arrived on scene and started to investigate the residence. After a walk through of the residence it was determined that one of the electrical sockets in the hallway failed after one of the residence tried to plug something into it. No extension was noted to the building and all Catskill units were back in service 15 minutes after the alarm was transmitted.
