With the current job market status more and more people have some spare time. Consider volunteering at your local fire station. Fire departments will train you to the state certification level. There are many ways you can help. You can volunteer by becoming a firefighter or helping with drinks and food on larger fires. Any help is appreciated in todays fire houses.
