Application to Annex into Thunderbird Fire District

The Thunderbird Fire District Fire Fighters have been going door to door passing out applications for interested property owners to be annexed into the Fire District boundaries. If you are not currently part of the Fire District, or subscribing to any other private fire service, you will be billed by Thunderbird Fire District for any calls TFD responds to on your property (and/or you will be billed by any other responding dept also.)

This year is anticipated to be worse than last year for fires due to the extreme drought conditions and the accumulation of grasses due to the sparse rains that have fallen these past few weeks.

Joining the Fire District may also help decrease your property insurance rates. Please contact any member of the Fire District if you would like information on joining Thunderbird Fire District.

Application to annex and therefore amend the district boundaries of Thunderbird Fire District

Arizona Revised Statue 48-262, Subsection H, gives a Fire District the authority to amend its boundaries upon written request of any property owner whose land is adjacent to the boundaries of the current Fire District. By completing this form and signing, you are providing a written request to be included within the boundaries of the Thunderbird Fire District.

The request to be included with in the boundaries of the Thunderbird Fire District is with the understanding that your property will be included with the condition that it borders the current Fire District. If your property does not currently border the Fire District, it will be included within the district once the property becomes adjacent to the Fire District. That will most likely occur once other requests or petitions cause the Fire District to boarder your property and amend the Fire District.
