Albany Fire Department Line of Duty Death
We join the members of the Albany Fire Department as they are mourning the loss of twenty year veteran Fire Fighter Ted Abriel who died while fighting a working high rise fire at 2 Lincoln Square in Albany's South End. F.F. Abriel comes from a long family tradition of fire fighters including his brothers, Capt henry Abriel(ret.) and Deputy Chief Warren Abriel. He was the son of Battalion Chief Warren Abriel(deceased)and the famiy tradition dated back to the 1800's with great great grandfather Reuben Abriel. Our thoughts are with his wife and children as they face this great loss.

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
