BSVFD Welcomes Samantha Cothern

We would like to welcome Samantha Cothern as our newest member to our fire department. Samantha has agreed to join BSVFD with the mandatory 6-month probation starting from 8-15-07. Samantha has no previous fire fighting experience, but seems very interested to learn. She has already taken part in a live burn evaluation (more so as a spectator); she has joined the department, as did the rest of her family before her. Her parents Beth and Dave Sator, and her brother Bud Cothern. We wish her the best of luck and believe she can be a great asset to the department!More News
