Month of January business meeting notes

MINUTES OF THE MEETING January 14, 2007.
President Kenny called the meeting to order at 2003. There were 24 members in attendance.
Minutes of the previous meeting held on December 10, 2007 were read. A motion to accept the minutes was presented by Eric Bechard, seconded by Adam Coughlin. Motion was approved by membership.
Theodore Mueller presented a budget. A motion to approve the budget was made by Randy Kasper, seconded by David Smith. Motion was approved by membership.
Committee
Membership-A motion to accept Andy Wolf as a probationary member was made by Lee Smith, seconded by Greg Vogel. Motion was approved by membership.
A motion to move Nathan Vosse to an active member was made by Lee Smith seconded by Adam Coughlin. Motion was approved by membership.
Birthday- Motion to give a birthday to the Freeburg Elementary Education Foundation was presented by Brian Reaka, Seconded by Eric Bechard.
Winter-fest- At 1800 hours happy hour will be at the fire house followed by dinner at 1900 hours at 2030 the band starts at Grover’s.
Soda and ice- Theodore Mueller, Andy Diefenbach, Grover, Kenny Krieg, Brian Reaka.

Clean up- Will start at noon with Brian Reaka, Adam, and Kenny, Kemp
Old Business
Calendars are complete for this year.
Motion to donate $1,000.00 to the food and clothing bank at the February meeting was made by Adam Coughlin, Seconded by Greg Vogel. Motion was approved by membership.
New Business
A motion to do the calendar project again next year was made by Ron Jester, seconded by Kenny Krieg. Motion was approved by membership.
If you have a question about the new check list for the trucks ask Kenny Krieg.
No smoking in the fire house, on the fire dept. property, and the fire apparatus.
Chief’s Report
CPR class will start January 21, 2008 and also be held on January 28, 2008.
Seat belts are being looked into.
New gear racks will be in anytime and the apparatus bays will be painted also.
We are going to be looking at getting a new ISO rating.
A training chart will be use in this coming year to track
A motion to adjourn was made by Ron Jester, seconded by Kenny at 2105. Motion was approved by membership.
50/50 was won by Andy Diefenbach.
