Beefed-up fire protection in White Co.
Fire Woman found this article on AccessNorthGa.com | Posted: April 8th, 2008CLEVELAND - Good news for the people in Sautee: the next time there's a fire in that part of White County, the fire department will have a ready supply of water.
The county has purchased a new 3,000-gallon tanker.
The 2008 Peterbilt Model 340 cost $143,850 and was placed into service on April 3. It is the county's second brand new apparatus within the past four months.
