Accident caused Tualatin house fire
Fire Ryan found this article on oregonlive.com | Posted: April 9th, 2008Investigators have determined that the fire that destroyed a 107-year-old house on Friday was accidental.
Karen Eubanks, spokeswoman for Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, said the fire, which leveled a home at 6625 S.W. Robbins Road, was not intentionally set. The determination effectively ends Tualatin Valley's investigation into the cause.
"There is no evidence prompting our investigators to believe that this fire was incendiary," Eubanks said. "Investigators have several hypotheses as to what may have started the fire. But because there is no conclusive evidence -- due to it being destroyed in the fire -- we will not speculate on an ignition source."
