Chief
	Silva, Nick Service: 6 Years Nick started his firefighting career with Wilmar Volunteer Fire department in 1995. He was then hired by Sonoma County Dept. of Emergency Services in 1999. In 2003 he was hired by CHP and is assigned to the Marin Area. Nick joined Lakeville in 2004 and became the third Lakeville Fire Chief in June of 2005. Nick has completed the states classes needed to be a Firefighter and a Company Officer (S-Series classes). Nick is also a Haz-Mat Specialist, CA State Fire Officer, Strike Team Leader and member of the Sonoma Co. Fire Investigation Task Force.
Captain
	Altenreuther, Kenneth Service: 34 Years Ken is one of the founding members of the department he has been here sence 1976. Ken was the second Lakeville Fire Chief and in June of 2005 he stepped down to do more traveling to his other house in Nevada. Ken was assinged to the rank of Captain. Ken has completed the states classes needed to be a Firefighter and a Company Officer(the S classes)
	Altenreuther, Richard Service: 34 Years Rich is one of the founding members and has been with the department sence 1976. Rich is a mechanic in his family owned and operated auto repair garage and bar. Rich has completed all of the states classes to be a Firefighter and Company Officer(the S classes)
	Jacobsen, Chris Service: 11 Years Chris has been a member since 1999. He has been promoted to the rank of Training Captain. He is also trained as a EMT-Paramedic & Haz-Mat Technician. Chris also has a strong background in Hazardous Materials, Wild land firefighting, and is well trained in Vehicle Extrication. Chris has completed California State Firefighter II and he is currently working on his Fire Officer training certificate. Chris has a background of 4 summers working for Marin County Fire Dept. as a seasonal Firefighter. Chris has completed the state classes to be a Firefighter and a Company Officer.
Engineer
	Buck, Dan Service: 5 Years Dan has been a member since 2005. Dan is an EMT and is currently attending SRJC with a degree major in fire science. Dan has completed the states classes to b a Firefighter and Company Officer(S-Series classes). Dan has been promoted to the rank of Engineer and is also the Lakeville VFD Public Information Officer.
	Jehan, Greg Service: 4 Years Greg has been a member since 2006. Greg previously volunteered 5 years with The Camp Meeker Volunteer Fire Department. Greg has been promoted to the rank of Engineer. Greg has been assigned as the Medical Officer for the department.
	Maus, Ryan Service: 6 Years Ryan has been a member since 2004. Ryan has completed all of the states Firefighter and Company Officer classes (S-Series classes). Ryan was promoted to the rank of Engineer. Ryan has been assigned as the Asst. Training Officer and is the department Apparatus Maintenance Engineer.
Fire Fighter
	Ish, Jim Service: 6 Years Jim has been a member of Lakeville sence 2004. Jim was a Volunteer Firefighter with Winters Fire Dept. He was there from 1965 to 1970. Jim has completed all of the states classes to be a Firefighter and a Company Officer(the S classes).
	Peter Peirano Service: 3 Years Peter is the newest member of the department. He is attending the new volunteer porgrma recetly started by Capt. Jacobsen and Eng. Buck. He has completed his required classes (S series) to be a firefighter in CA.
Firefighter/EMT
	Justin Moller Service: 4 Years Justin has been with the department for over 2 years but took a short leave of absence. He is a hazmat specialist, EMT and is an active member of the Sonoma County Hazardous Materials Response Team.
	Ryan Brothers Service: 3 Years Ryan has been a member since 2007. He he is also a member of the Marin County USAR team. Ryan is currently in the LVFD's training program from new firefighters.
	Wiggin, Nic Service: 4 Years Nic joined the dept in August 2006. Nic is a firefighter and an EMT. He is part of the Firefighters Association for Lakeville as the Secretary. He also volunteers with the Marin County USAR team. Nic has completed training in Swift Water Rescue Technician, RS 1 and RS 2, HazMat, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, Mountain Rescue Technician and Nic is in charge of the GPS program and pre-planning for the department. He has completed his required classes to be a Firefighter in the state of California and has completed training to be a Crew Boss for a single resource.
Retired
	Dickson, Fred Service: 27 Years Fred was a Lakeville Member sence 11-1983. Fred has just retired from Lakeville at the Rank of Captain. Fred is a active member of the Fort Ross VFD and he is in the process of moving to his new house in Cazadero. Fred was a farmer but recently sold his ranch to move to his other ranch. Recently reinstated to active duty
	Gilardi, Russell Service: 22 Years Russell was a Firefighter sence 11-1988. Russell left active duty after a back injury last year. He tried to come back but his back had other ideas. Russell runs one of the local boat marina's in the area. Russell retired at the rank of Firefighter.
	Horn, Thomas Service: 4 Years Thomas joined the dept in 2006. Thomas has just completed the EMT academy and FF1. Thomas has completed the S classes to be a state certified firefighter. We were all saddend by his sudden death in March of 2007. He was a great person and a caring firefighter
	Jacobsen, Craig Service: 30 Years Craig has been a member of Lakeville sence 1980. He is a local Farmer. Craig has completed the state classes needed to be a Firefighter (the S classes). Craig has recently steped down from active duty.
	Silacci, Don Service: 30 Years Don was a Firefighter for Lakeville sence 2-1980. He recently retired from the dept. and he is going to spend more time with his Grandkids and persue some of his faveoriate hobbies. He is a local dairy farmer. Don retired at the rank of Firefighter.
